The purpose of the Transgender flag project is to promote my flag design. I would like my flag to be used by many Transgender people the way the rainbow flag is used by gay people. There is no official membership, so to be a member all you need to do is help promote the flag. Any one can join regardless of your sexual orientation or gender identity. I would hope to see people marching in parades with a Transgender flag project banner. If you feel the need to start a local chapter of this group go ahead.
